Tono is a lifelong Parkland native and resident. Prior to joining Blue Zones Project® – Parkland-Spanaway, he led a ten-year career in the nonprofit sector with particular focus on philanthropy, education equity, and community development.
A proud product of Franklin Pierce Schools, he now serves as the President of the Franklin Pierce School Board of Directors. Additionally, Tono holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Evergreen State College and an undergraduate degree in sociology from Pacific Lutheran University.
When Tono’s not advocating for the community through one of his leadership roles, you can find him enjoying time with family or taking in a movie at the Grand Cinema.
My Power 9
My favorite Power 9® is Purpose. My single greatest hope for Parkland-Spanaway is for folks to find their purpose and a sense of belonging, leading to a shared understanding that we can lead long, healthy lives and thrive right here in our home community.
